Defending champion Correcaminos de Colon (LPB) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 38-year old American forward Terrence Shannon (203-F-79, college: Elgin CC, agency: DTMones). Shannon played last season at Club Deportes Espanol de Talca Chile-Liga Nacional. In 26 games he averaged an impressive 23.9ppg, 9.3rpg, 2.4apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 51.8%, 3FGP: 30.6%, FT: 76.9%.

In 2001 (two years after he left the college) Shannon was drafted by Maryland Mustangs (USBL) in third round (29th overall).

The former Elgin Community College (JUCO) staris in his 20th (!!!) season in pro basketball. He received also Latinbasket.com All-Chilean Liga Nacional Honorable Mention award in 2018.

Among other achievements Shannon won Dominican Rep. Santiago League championship title in 2017. He would also help the GIE Maile Matrix of the UBA win the 2017 Copa Mitchell Cup in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He was later named Latinbasket.com All-Mitchell Cup 1st Team.

It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Correcaminos.

The scouts decsribe him following way: The graduate can create shots around the basket and fly high above the rim. He will rely heavily on athletic ability. Shannon is a 6'8 versitle forward with a big time motor! He is an athlete who plays with great energy and always above the rim. Can Defend the 3 or 4 without any problem. Always a fan favorite because of his ability to finish dunks on or over defeners.
